You guys have been so supportive! Thank you so, so much. Backerkit has been collecting pledges. We only have a few cards that haven't been charged, so check and make sure that you've got all the info correct on your payment information before the 10th or you'll miss out on this amazing deals!

WHAT'S NEXT?

Once all the pledges have been collected, I'll send out the surveys. PLEASE RETURN THESE ASAP!!! They are due by the 27th but the sooner the better! These will let us know where you live so we can calculate and collect shipping. I tried to keep the costs as low as possible! Also, you'll let me know what name you'd like on the contribution page. Once I update the manuscript with that page, I will start sending out the ebooks! Yahoo!!! You'll get an email from Bookfunnel with the information on how to download to your device. They have excellent customer service, too!

From there, I'll send in the books to the printer with all the fun upgrades. Yahoo! I'm so excited. This is going to be so amazing! I am so touched at your generosity and support!

I started making all the bookmark/keychains. I will post a picture of them soon! They turned out so fun!

I have a surprise!

The poll for silver or gold hard enamel pins closed at the end of the campaign and after seeing enthusiastic response to both gold and silver, I decided to order both! They will be here mid-October. It's not too late to order a Stitchbinding hard enamel pin when I send out surveys. If you already got a book, these won't add any additional shipping!

Thank you, amazing Stitchbinders! YOU DID IT! Each one of you (99!) helped us reach our last stretch goal! So the digital downloads for the piano arrangement and the coloring pages. And the upgraded maps!! Woot! Woot! Take a moment to bask the glory and anticipate all your goodies!

What happens next?  I'll update you lovely backers with updates when I hit all these milestones.

First, the funding period. Backerkit will collect all the pledges. This can last up to two weeks. (Mid Oct.)

During that time, I'll be composing a backer survey asking for email and addresses. Whitelist Backerkit.com PLEASE FILL THESE OUT AND RETURN SURVEY ASAP! This helps me to know a few things:

Who to credit in the book
Where to send digital goodies
Where to send physical goodies
How much to charge for shipping
Stuff that you need input on

Shipping is charged based on your region and what you ordered by weight. Local people will have the option to come pick it up from me! (I sense a party coming...) Also, since most add-ons don't add a whole lot of weight to the order, shipping will be about what we anticipated. Stickers, overlays, postcards, pins, and bookmarks are lightweight.

At this point, you can still purchase items to have them shipped with your order. Or shipped to another address if you buy the giftable books. After I put the items on my site, sadly the price will go up. Giving you the best deal possible is my gift to you for being here from the beginning.

Then, the ebooks with bonus scene should go out shortly after that. I will need to upgrade the maps, but be looking for an email from Bookfunnel that will say something like YOUR EBOOKS HAVE ARRIVED in the subject line. Cosy down and read the ebooks before your books come in the mail so that you will anticipate those physical copies EVEN MORE!

Digital downloads will follow. Digital art pack, prequel novella, and the coloring pages will also come from Bookfunnel. Those might take a little longer. Give us a few weeks. I will email the link to the piano arrangement as well as the playlist when those are ready. These kinds of emails are easy to miss, so I will also post an update here. I apologize in advance for the double emails. It will be just a head's up. I've almost missed one once from another crowdfunding campaign. Estimated time: end of Oct--beginning of Nov.

Next, after we've gotten all the art, I'll send the books to the printers. (end of Oct--depending on how long art takes) YAY! The printers are usually pretty fast, but things can happen when shipping from overseas. I've ordered from them before with great success, but not these specialty books, so cross your fingers everything goes smoothly. (All early-bird incentives will be mailed with the books.) I'll ask in the survey if you want a keychain or bookmark.)

***if you backed both collab projects at a physical tier in the Booktopia event, you'll get your cards from each creator. I'll send my three cards with my order and Laura will send hers with hers.****

I am hoping to package and ship books by end of November, early December. If we miss our target dates, I'll update you here.

When you get your order, do a little happy dance! If you want, you can open the packages on social media and make all your friends jealous. :) Then mark it as fulfilled on the Backerkit platform.
